Like a merry-go-round
the way to have them live on
is to never stop loving them.

Beatrice Chia (the director) and some of the production crew were damn happy... lol... well, just telling some interesting stuff that u cant see as an audience... i guess that's all.. shld have blogged yesterday, then would have stonger feelngs afor the play to write more abt it... but was damn tired la..
well, exams finally over... never studied so hard in my life... grr... anyway i have no vivas to take... hmm... somehow i tink it means straight sub papers for me... argh... at least for physio... i have to get 60 marks to get a pass lor... seems not very possible, when my highest so far is only 35... anyway, for the non-medics.. vivas are oral exams that you can take if u just happen to fail your paper or fall short of a distinction grade... if not, you have to take supplmentary papers... like re-exam like that la.. hai....
anyway, was working for a show called porcelain yesterday... the best play that i ever wateched! everyone must go and see if u have the time, definitely worth your money...

"A most remarkable achievement... a drama of racial grief,
generating the urgency of a thriller and the power of an archetype" - The Times,
between men who publicly claim they are straight and the gay men who know
better. An Asian immigrant into the UK, 19 year-old John Lee is an outsider in
the clubs of happy handsome gay men. Intelligent, with a future at Cambridge, he
is unable to deal with being jilted by a man he met while cruising the toilets.
As the play opens, John stands accused of brutally slaying his lover. The scene
of the crime: a restroom known for gay sex where the passion first ignited. The
story then unfolds through a series of inner voices, flashbacks and
spine-tingling confessions as we follow John in his desperate and tragic quest
for love among the lurid. Chay Yew’s Porcelain is a story of extremes: love and
hate, want and need, life and death, bigotry, loneliness, violence, homophobia
and the dark side of an all-consuming passion. Staged throughout the world to
furious critical acclaim, Porcelain makes its long-anticipated debut in
Singapore under the helm of the award-winning directorial duo, Goh Boon Teck and Beatrice Chia, and starring LIFE! Theatre Awards Best Actor nominees, Nelson Chia and Mark Richmond. This emotional journey promises to quicken or break your heart.
and life still goes on...
