yeah!!! long time never blog liao... and i have good news today!!! my hockey team is gg to the semifinals!!! hooray!!!! a pity was that we never scored against sheares hall.. there were chances of our winning them... all my training... in the end, never even had an attempt to strike...
but i must say that we have played well against Temasek... well, they were the champions last year lor... and they trashed the runner-up also... tt show's how good they are... dunno how many national players and IVPs they have in their team... their goals were so beautiful... grr... and scary too... we were playing full defensive... but everyone said that i played well!!! hooray!!! so happy today... i managed to get quite a few of their balls.. tackled the attackers... so shiok... another one of my teammates was screaming all the way as she charged at them... "YAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" all the way... was so stunt.. never knew she was so courageous... and i must say that she did scare their players off... many times they were asked to put the ball to our legs, but they didnt, and was forced to make a desperate pass which went out... she was so brilliant... even I could be calm enuff to put the ball to their legs but they couldnt do tt to us... think perhaps they were also stunted by us... then we were trying to waste time by slowing jogging and sweeping the ball as far away as possible...
the final score was:
KE vs. Sheares: 0-0
Temasek vs, Sheares: 7-0
Temasek vs. KE: 5-0
we won by the fact that we conceded less goals than them... but i'm really proud of my team... the other halls have like 1st team, 2nd team, and maybe even enuff ppl for a third team... we only had 1 team.. with a few reserves... and most of the time, i was the only girl at training... not industrious at all, but for such a team to play so nicely against such a strong team... i was very sure that they felt a little threatened by us... alot of them were very irritated... and we did our best... by being aggressive... being more garang... having more confidence... and fighting hard... such a great day i had... my first ever competitive match playing a sport... such a wonderful world...
and life still goes on...
