heemm.. i went for an excursion today.. so long never go for one already.. anyway, i went to Delta Senior School. It's a senior school for ppl with Mild Mental Retardation (MMR). Just some personal reflections on the visit.. the students actually looked very normal, and you would not know tt they have mental retardation if u see them on the streets. and they are actually as capable as normal ppl like us, just tt they take a longer time to learn. they were cooking hokkien mee when we visited the kitchen, and its like, how many of us knows how to cook them? i was very impressed with wat they are capable of. and something else which i was very pleased with: they are actually paid the same amount of money as normal ppl like us. There are jon placement officers around who help them look for jobs. and when shown to be capable to doing a particular job, they will be given the same pay structure as the other workers. I'm cery comforted by this, as it shows tt there's no discrimination against these people. They could do something as well as normal ppl do, so they get the same amount of returns.
relatively inspired by the trip.. perhaps one of these days, will go down and help as a volunteer. although i dunno wat i can actually do.. :P

eh.. long time never blog liao.. today i scored 6 goals while playing hockey!!! woohoo!! its something that i have to brag about.. somehow i haven been scoring much goals in the last few weeks.. sometimes its a bit demoralising.. for a striker not to score any goals.
anyway, now i'm worried about my team. This year, i din see any dedicated girls around. most ppl came for only 1 training so far... so demoralised.. why can't there be enthu ppl like me? if there's only even one, i would be damn happy.. next year's female captain is gonna get a heaache forming a proper team.. seriously worrying.. at least i still have my senior players now.. hai.. HAI... i used to go for all the trainings.. 3 times a week. yes, i swear to heaven and earth and upon my soul that i went for every single training and those tt i missed, i really couldnt help it. sometimes ppl tell me tt they tink tt they are lousy. well, THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! COME FOR TRAINING LA..WTH.. such simple logic. and then there are those who said tt they are coming but never come.. i've realised tt there are more liers nowadays.. more and more ppl dun take their words seriously.. either tt, its just the ppl tt im exposed to.. irritating..
anyway, today's a happy day.. cos i scored 6 goals.. YEAH!!! even when i was coughing my lungs out... my cough seems to be getting from bad to worse.. argh..
and life still goes on...
