hmmm.... hall orientation just finished... not as bad as i tot, lol.... but my hall alot of foreign scholars, expecially PRCs... at first quite sian, but then discovered that they are quite nice after all, expecially the girls...and i like the cultural exchange... but still, i dun like to play games.... at some was really quite boring, but it sort of got better la... i only attended the camp to know my neighbours anyway... never expected much... yesterday night was great... our "inauguration ceremony"... quite gross actually... all covered in starch... but it's been a tradition for many many years... oh ya, and i love my room!! it's one of the biggest in nus...
and life still goes on...

eh... just discovered tt sch's starting soon... too soon... i dun like studying!!!!! and worse still, i'm taking such a horrible course...
next week got hostel camp... i still dun understand wat's so fun abt getting egg and flour all over u... at least, the camps i've attended and organised dun waste food like tt... even heard that for medicamp, they blended up animal's innards and make the ppl search for things inside... so wu liao... dunno wat's wrong with these ppl... these animals are not born for us the PLAY with... and i tot that doctors are ppl with compassion... and yet they are doing things like this... it's so cruel... and not to mention those ppl who are hungry and suffering... cruel to the animals, cruel to other less fortunate... at another camp, my friend got drenched with stinky, fishy-smelled water... wat's the point?!?!? can anyone PLEASE enlighten me?!?!?!
i used to love camps... i really really loved them... well, i think i still do... but i would prefer training camps, leadership camps, than all these orientation camps... which, except for making frens, i dun think there's a need to attend at all.. waste of time.. and anyway, wat's the purpose of all these camps? think the organisers shld get their priorities rite... must it be like that for it to be fun???
anyway, will still be gg for my hostel camp (eventhough i'm still sort of deciding whether to stay in KE... dunno why i go and put KE... i know i will get it for sure...then now i want to go PGP... argh... stupid meal plans.. restrict my schedule...) hopefully i wun be wasting my time... frankly, i'd rather do nothin at home... hmmm... so if any enthu camp goers sees this, leave me a comment ok?? i really want to know why ppl like these kinda camps...
btw, anyone knows what brand of laptop is the most reliable, break down less frequently??? need to get laptop soon... or else later go uni no com to use... tt's the end of my world... it's already been a horrible time this 6 mths... no msn, not much internet, no MP3s!!!

help!!! had this problem for quite some time... I cannot access the internet using the IE browser directly. When the program is executed, it will just hang. The only way is to go to other folders and change the link at the address bar.
then, whenever there's a pop-up or a new window is opened, the browser will hang. after some time, the new window will pop out (but you can never see its contents) and you will have to close it first before the original window can be used (it will not be responding otherwise)..
any cures?!?! with this problem, i cannot access alot of info which WILL open in a new window...

feel free to clarify if i didn't state my problem clearly enough....
anyway, discovered tt my blog displays differently with diff monitor sizes (it will not be centralised with a bigger/smaller monitor compared to e one i'm using). any html codes to use so tt it will just stay the same way?

hmmm...some movies coming up for this half of the year which i think its worth watching...
seen this one already... its a very enjoyable one... reviews are good also (93%). Does anyone know that a salad from Macdonalds contains more calories than a Big Mac? Does anyone know that in America, there's this option called "supersize"... the size of the coke u get is abt our 1.5 litre bottle... can anyone finish tt?!?! haha...some stuff i learn from the movie... interesting... i wanted to stand up and clap, but everyone else was only interested in getting out of the cinema... lousy audience... oh, and the soundtrack is pretty nice too... very interesting and humorous lyrics... catchy songs.. i love sonudtracks... think its not shown anymore... it was damn funny... it's extremely lame, but then you can't say that it's crappy... definitely worth your time... a very very witty show... should be very nice also (look at the ratings) ... but then, dun have so much interest in action movies... dun mind if someone gives me a treat though..*hint* it should be a good watch... watched Ocean's Eleven with the guys... think its the only movie we've watched together... very nice also... this will open in december only... a long wait... seem very nice... reviews not that good also...but then it interests me...well, i like Kiera Knightley... except Pirates of Carribean, I have watched all her films...good actress... well, it's directed by M. Night Shyamalan... wat else can you say? his previous movie is so good that ppl will just watch this anyway... see wat better movies he can come up with... and Adrien Brody is acting!!! I love The Pianist... well, now it's Johnny Depp, and i simply love Johnny Depp... even though reviews not that good, think the movie is still watchable... he's a superb actor... pity he didn't get the oscars this year... he looked so sad... well, he din expect to get nominated anyway... it's written by the same guy who wrote Phone Booth. and Phone Booth is a mega-thriller, which kept me gripping the seat for almost the whole movie... and it's promised to be even better than Phone Booth... looking forward to this one.. From the Academy Award ?-winning creators of "Toy Story," "Monsters, Inc." and "Finding Nemo". what else can i say???? watched it already... there's an earlier post on it.. reviews are ultra lousy, but i still think it's interesting... din watch the first one... but i tot it was nice... this shld be nice too... Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks... enough to make me want to watch it... story's interests me, but reviews not too good... http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/terminal/about.php it's Martin Scorses and Leonardo Dicaprio! i may not like Leonardo, but Martin Scorsese directed this... he has made quite a few good movies... and actually, Leoardo Dicaprio is quite a good actor too... I loved Gangs of New York, and i think i'll love this too... another long wait till dec... it's shot over a period of 17 years... *wow* it consists of a series of short clips... shld be nice... about a poor ophan who defies all odds to climb the social ladder... i like this kind of story... well, this movie got full marks... doesn't seem that interesting to me, but i would watch to see why it's so good... haha... but obviously i wun spend money to watch la... korean war film... from the dirctor of Shiri... i loved Shiri.. but dunno whether this is nice... i liked all korean movies i've seen so far actually... shld be good la... interesting story (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1130023-return/about.php), good reviews... seems interesting... but think it will be RA... must watch this one... opening on the 22nd, i think... it's Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhang Ziyi... it's a martial arts pic... audiences broke out in applause...twice.. at a screening at a film fest... hmm... i just read a very nice book.... there's quite a few interesting things worthy of mention...

argh...... this has been a horrible week... and its only tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i went to my student's hse yesterday for tuition... and he wasn't there.... no explanations given... he just wasn't there. period.
i went for my 1st driving lesson today. the instructor wasn't there also. i was late for less than 5 min. and he just went off.... and he said he went off at 4.30pm, the agreed meeting time... what's this?!?!!!!?!?! it was raining heavily. ppl take public transport. how to be exactly on time?!?!?!?!? i asked my cousin (the tcher was recommended by him) and he said that i shld have reconfirmed the time. we have already agreed on the time last friday. i said ok means ok.... where is the need to reconfirm?!?!?!?
my sis is supposed to help me sign up for esplanade ushering duties today. she jolly well know that she has to sign in at 8pm sharp (I teaching tuition then). she wanted to watch tv, and signed in at 8.30pm. i wanted 11 slots, and she gave me only 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!
thats at least $300 gone!!!!!!!!!! my dad said that if its so impt, i shld have done it myself. what rationale is this?!?!?! she said ok, she's going to do it... and if i dun trust my family, who can i trust????????????????? it's outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok means ok... ok doesn't mean " maybe i'll do it, maybe not... maybe i'll do it later"
